Today I was surprised by seeing in today's comp.lang.ada digest my own
message, which was posted almost 2 months ago - August 27 - as a reply to
question about SPARK. I remember that that time, when I posted that message
(via gateway at Ada-France), it didn't appear in the newsgroup; instead I got
autoreply from the gateway's Mailman, telling me that some addresses in that
my posting do not correspond to each other, and therefore the posting is
suspected spam and is quarantined until the moderator of the mailing list
will check it.
As I did not consider that my posting as urgent or too valuable, I decided
to let it go that way instead of cancelling and re-posting it. Ironically, it
seems that a pack of real spam, which attracted attention to the Mailman's
spam-prevention mechanism, pushed it through, at last.
Anyway, Net never forgets! -:)
