Asis.Data_Decomposition, Example?

Hello,

Can anybody explain in a bit detail, what the purpose of package
Asis.Data_Decomposition is. I did not find any information detailed enough.
A pointer to a simple example would be useful.

BTW: I'm familiar with ASIS and developed some useful tools with the API.
