There must be something else. I'm running Debian/GNOME and I've always
been on the testing branch. Not problem. Some glitches from time to time
(well it is more like 2 problems a year) but that's all!
I forgot to mention: I run a weekly update as well on about 20 other upgrade
channels (+ the critical security fix update channel) - including KDE4 - no
trouble there. All the other openSUSE teams are able to create reliable
continues upgrades.
