"The Half A Wanna Bee" asked:
| So what I am looking for is the TOP 10 reasons why everybody hates MS.
The top may be the fact that M$-systems are sold that often :)
Next will be the dictate which force HW-manufacturers to produce
"for windoze only", so detailed hw-info for add-on's is hard to find.
The obvious targets:
make money out of sh*t and tell the uninformed user this is the best,
declare obvious bugs as 'documented special conditions',
declare obvious delaying detours as "safety needs",
selling "new version" faster than an unwary user can detect bugs,
users expectations for functionality are totally ignored,
The hiding policy:
perhaps due to the shame for "this" code ??
The paranoid "registry":
what is the real sense of the reg.exe ?? (5 MB BS).
The even more paranoid "backwards compatibility":
most kernel code will run on 80186 machines
(... and sell the same BS again and again ...).
The vast amount of never used buffers:
try to make us believe in
'a very large executable "have to" contain many functions',
actually there are more zeros than code or data.
this list would be long ...
