Betov, Betov, wherefore art thou Betov.

It seems that our vocal friend Betov has changed feet and put his
other foot in his mouth again with the latest nonsense about how
gracious Microsoft have been to supply the best assembler in the
    win32/x86 market for free legally.

While there is little doubt that Betov's grasp of English is poor at
best, he has recently made a post where he has again attacked
Microsoft for supplying the assembler to the community as legal
freeware on the basis of his apparently new found legal knowledge of
    the Microsoft EULA.

Rather than trust any of the nonsense that comes out of Betov, its
best to read the licence directly from Microsoft as they supplied it
    in the EULA.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1. GRANT OF LICENSE. This EULA grants you the following limited,
    non-exclusive rights:
    * SOFTWARE PRODUCT. You may make, install and use up to a maximum of
ten (10) copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on computers, including
workstations, terminals or other digital electronic devices, residing
on your premises, to design, develop, and test software products,
including but not limited to device drivers and other software
products ("Application(s)") for use with Microsoft Windows and/or
    Windows NT.
    * SAMPLE CODE. You may modify the sample source code ("Sample Code")
included with the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to design, develop and test your
Application. You may also reproduce and distribute the Sample Code
with such modifications in source and object code forms, provided that
    (a) you distribute the Sample Code only in conjunction with and as a
part of your Application; (b) you do not make any statements to the
effect or which imply that your Application is "certified" by
Microsoft or that its performance is guaranteed by Microsoft; (c) you
do not use Microsoft's name, logo, or trademarks to market your
Application; (d) you include a valid copyright notice on your
Application; and (e) you indemnify, hold harmless, and defend
Microsoft from and against any claims or lawsuits, including
attorneys' fees, that arise or result from the use or distribution of
your Application. Contact Microsoft for the applicable royalties due
and other licensing terms for all other uses and/or distribution of
    the Sample Code.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now in contrast to the legal protection that MASM and specifically
MASM32 users have directly from Microsoft with the EULA, Betov is
distributing software that he wrote in STOLEN software and has done so
under a GPL licence. In doing so he puts every user of his software at
risk because his own software is illegal to start with.

The only safe option for programmer who use software distributed by
Betov is to get one of the other fully legal assemblers like NASM,
FASM or GoAsm and they are not at risk any longer with what they use.
In the case of betov, he would be best adevised to delete the pile of
crap he has written in STOLEN software, learn how to use a decent C
compiler and start writing a real assembler that could compete with
    the big players.

Come on Betov, when will you come clean and admit that you software is
based on STOLEN commercial software, delete that pile of crap and
start again with fully legal software ?
