JFYI: The first KESYS-applications were sold 1989 (early KXMS/KEMM).
      And till now I'm still able to feed my kids from KESYS-jobs :)
Perhaps I should have mentioned that KESYS-membership means:
 'based on a signed and confirmed contract'.

I think about a future 'open-code' version,

Yes. I would participate on the creation of a new ASM-library standard
[if agreeable after all, see re:learning asm].
Proper HW-links are just one, but big part which can improve performance.

I'm not quite sure what you have in mind with high-level thinking,
block-structures?, macros?, ... this are the time-/space-eaters yet,
perhaps a smarter API?, together with a 'real smart' compiler?

Yes, one of my final targets is a G-like application-builder,
but I will extremely take care about the produced code.

Sure.
 But as there is always the choice between the extreme,
 you may either select top-speed code or programming comfort.
 All (so far) attempts to have them both failed poorly,
 even n-pass compilers may spend hours for a few hundred statements.
 Metal-oxide chips will hardly beat the complexity of
 ~4^9 cross-wired analogue PCs in a human brain,
 even the 'thinking speed' is quite slower by far. ;)
