    Hi,
Is it possible to access the Windows Registry using assembly language
in 32 bit native mode ?
What I want is to determine the o.s. (Windows 98/ME etc.) by
    reading the HKEY . . . .CurrentVersion\ProductName.

Can Windows APIs be invoked from native dos mode or
    must I write a win32 app.
    Thanks in advance.
