Basically,... no. Simply impossible.
As you say, you have, of course, to first learn the basics
of x86 syntax, of CPU optimizations, and the like.
Then you have to write Applications in Assembly for several
years.
Then you will, progressively have some access to "Thinking
Assembly"... and to "Strategy Optimization".
We have several examples, here, of Programmers perfectly
knowing the flat form of Assembly programming, who will
much probably never have any access to Assembly Thinking,
and who will much probably go on writing Assembly while
thinking HLL as long as they will be writing Assembly,
or more exactely, in theses cases, _saying_ that they
write Assembly, but saying, also, "you are insulting me"
when i ask them: "Where are your Assembly written Apps
available?".
