Well, electricity was basically not taught period at my elementary and
high schools. Probably because they didn't have the funds for
laboratory equiptment and supplies. Heck, I don't remember anything
beyond the mere basics being present in the textbooks. But, I can
tell you that colleges and universities DO INDEED cover the subjects
appropriately -- especially since the students are required to take
chemistry and/or physical science classes the first year.
The following quote from the site you posted instills serious doubt
about the credability of the author:
