"The Wannabe's" early post pointed to a thread which talked about your
previous books, including "Using 6502 Assembly Language". This is one
of three books that really got me started programming early on, and also
got me into assembly language at a young age, for which I attribute the
success I've had as a programmer. Anyway, just wanted to say "thank
you" - I think I still have a copy in my house. I actually used it as a
"usability reference" for my own book - I knew if I was as clear as
"Using 6502 Assembly Language", then the book was easy to read. I often
compared sections in my book to that one to make sure that mine was
adequately clear.
Anyway, thanks for the inspiration and knowledge in my early years of
programming. Your book and "Intermediate Apple" were my main sources of
inspiration.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Bartlett
