Does stating "My adventure game is in the Public Domain" make it so?

Or do I need to sign official documents to make it so?

I have stated in the past that all of my adventure games (that I have
authored) are in the Public Domain. But I'd like to know if this is
good enough to make them Public Domain.

This includes the following adventure games I have written (for Windows,
Linux, and Commodore 64/128/Plus 4/C16/Vic-20):

Adventure RD, Alesian Plains, Chateau Le Mont, Conquest of Attica, Dark
Forest, Dark Forest 2, Drakon River, Enchanter: West Front to Apse,
Esotera: The Stones of Esotera, Golgatha, Golgatha II, Halite, HLA Adventure,
The Magic Flute, Mark... of the Vampire!, Merlin's Quest, Mystic Castle,
Paul's 8K Adventure, Progue, Progue II, Orathan, Orbit Zone, Red Tag
Clearance, Sea Hunter, Shinan Road, Silver Gauntlet, Twilight of the
Valkyries, Westfront 64/+4, Westfront II: Eight Trials of a Warrior,
Westfront Omega: The Amulet of Vega, Westfront PC: The Trials of Guilder,
Westfront PC-1/2: Treasures of Guilder, Westfront PC-II: The Gumshoe
Trials, Westfront to Apse, Westfront to Apse 64, Westfront to Apse II,
Westfront Vic-20, and Wizard Castle.

Sincerely,
