NASM in DOSEMU

I have gotten some DOS programs to run in DOSEMU under Debian Linux,
but I wonder if NASM for DOS works in DOSEMU. If so, does it make it
any easier to write large programs that use more than 640K? The
easiest programs to write in DOS are the ones that use at most 64K for
each segment. I would like to manage a data segment and files to
match that are about 4 megabytes in size. Now if there were a NASM
for DOSEMU, I would be very encouraged.

Doesn't anybody else feel that all this complexity is worse than
worthless?

I once wrote an assembly language and assembler for a quad 6502
circuit and system designed and built by little old me. In those
days (1982), I didn't know what useless complexity was. I don't think
anybody could have estimated its potential.
