turn off for learning assembler

I've decided to get down and learn how to program in assembly language.
so, in preparation for this undertaking, I began doing some looking around
on the Internet for references, etc. One of the logical places to begin
was looking through this newsgroup.
I was pretty excited to see that some people who are well known for
teaching, and writing about assembler were actually posting.
wow! what a bunch of arrogant, immature, unprofessional people (Betov
takes the cake, though). Thats unfortunate, because you all are clearly
incredibly intelligent and have lots to offer.
Instead of firing my desire to learn, it was dampened. I'm sure you'll
chalk this up to my being an idiot, or whatever salve you need for your
egos, but know this... I would never use any of your documentation,
learning systems and/or assemblers.
If you want to put yourself in a position of some sort of responsibility
by creating tools for those who wish to learn (and guess what? thats what
happens when you put yourself out there, like it or not), act like the
adults you are... not waging a pathetic religious war. Isn't one of the
more important things for the assembly programming community to be
concerned about encouraging people to learn and be interested in it?
