Assembler and Betov's last stand in ALA

A long time ago alt.lang.asm was a newsgroup where people talked about
assembler programming but over time, it has collapsed down to the last
place left where Betov can continue his attacks on Microsoft, Randy
Hyde, Myself and the project I maintain amidst many other things.

Betov has been kicked out of a number of forums because of his
behaviour and warned off other venues that he has used in the past to
continue his attacks which effectively concentrates his crusade
against all of the abovementioned things down into alt.lang.asm
because it is an unmoderated newsgroup.

As this is Betov's last basteon in his crusade against so many things,
there is little hope in the near future of it improving and returning
back to being an assembler newsgroup so I would recommend that members
who are interested in assembler rather than Betov's crusades seek
another venue where they can get some sensible discussion.

There are some very good sites available now for interested parties.

The original win32asmcommunity forum.
The FASM forum dedicated to supporting Tomasz's FASM assembler.
The masmforum hosts both MASM technical support and GoAsm support.
The CLAX newsgroup is moderated and has a reasonable number of people
who know their way around NASM and GAS as well as LINUX.

There are others as well but I don't keep up on all of them but for
members who are interested in assembler rather than Betov's views of
the world, programming, licencing etc ... it is easy enough to avoid
this nosense.

I would have abandoned this place some years ago except that I have a
contractual obligation to defend Microsoft from the stupidity that
never stops in this newsgroup and to ensure that the massive user base
for MASM32 is not mislead by illiterates.
