    Do I ? ( I am suspisious even about the mirror ). :))))))))

This is because they are not used to it. If you put a wild human beeing in
front of a mirror, for the first time, he would be equally surpriced. If
you place a mirror in the forrest, and some man walks there, and sees his
own image suddenly come towards him, he will be afraid / alert. My cat
understand perfectly what she sees in the mirror, she's just not very
interessted in it. Her kitten, who is one scared little cat, was very
scared at seeing herself, in the hall mirror, the first time, but now
after getting up on two legs and looking at her own image, a few times,
she no longer is afraid of it. (She used to think it was another cat) She
has resolved that the image is not threat to her. And now she doesnt
bother with it anymore. This seems to me must be because she recognize it
is her own image she sees.

Again. Selfawareness is a luxory that animals cannot allways afford. It
depends on the situation. You will find, that in moments of great fear,
your selfawarness will fade, while your general awareness of your
surroundings will increase. This is a simplification, but in general,
self-awareness increases when you have lots of energy available to you,
and decreases when there little. Self-awareness decreases also when stress
is high. Stressed people, stumble across the doorstep, or run into a
chair. Relaxed people, have more awareness of themselfes and their
surroundings, and will not run into things. Awareness take time and
attention, and that requires energy and wakefulness.

Theres lots more to say about this. Much of what I have been taught about
animals, in schoool is dead wrong. And all things about animal comming
from my sensei, is DEAD WRONG. They are both much wiser than us in many
cases, smarter as well. I know of many people that I consider much more
stupid than my cat. In some cases, I am one of them. In fact I know of
very few people that are much smarter than my cat. For instance, my cat
doesnt think about God, or talk about God, but she nevertheless have
grace. She never fails to clean her fur. She never fails to say thank you
for the food, and she never fails to show me love and respect, or to tell
me I am an *** when that happens I forget to feed her, or buy her some
nice food. She teaches me a lot. And she is allway 100% honest. Very
educating. Very unlike most people, and more like what people say they
    hope to become...... Decent beeings.

The reason for many people knowing nothing about any of this is that
awareness, and love and care and such things, are contagious, and TAKES
TIME. People no longer have much time. My friend have a cat that is
hostile towards even himself. The cat _seems_ to be very stupid, seeing it
from outside. My cat, follow me through the streets, sometimes, like a
puppydog :))) Sometimes it makes me real embarissed, having a cat looking
after me, and following me to the store, and I have to tell it to go home.

The secrets of life are bountiful, right under our noses.

:-))) Dont pay much attention to the myth of our culture. Look at the
culture, and what it has become from propagating the myths. And then
conclude that the myths are idiotic.

Ignore the dead myths. Make your own experiences and conclusions. Listen
to it, but do not learn from it without testing it out. Our culture is
SOAKED in lies. Is there even a single truth available to us anymore. Very
    few, it seems to me.
