There is no more reason why Crime&Co would have any
right and any competency for evaluating in any term
the quality of any artist, than to any Publisher to
evaluate if a "Randall Hyde" is 'somebody' or not.
The only thing where they have evaluation competency
is about how much money they can make by pushing the
sellings on such or such.
The game is quite simple: Either the Crime&Co will
win or Cultures will survive. These two things are
utterly incompatible.
As well as the GPL Mouvement, the Free Music Mouvement
is the only way, and all artists who go on selling
their productions, through Crime&Co, instead of making
it free for download on the internet, contribute to the
destruction of Culture.
As opposed, all artists that do make their production
free for download, and give concerts, contribute to
the Cultures diversity and quality improvements. They
are unfortunately very few, up to now, because they
_do_ hope the same thing as Crime&Co: Lot of money,
that is, in 99.99999...% of the cases, pure illusion.
The real quality problem is that, for the Crime&Co,
the target is the wider "mass", for wider incomes.
They naturaly tend to reduce the choice to the lowest
cultural level, as there are more idiots than lovers
of sophistications and/or novelties.
As opposed, the free downloads are able to target
very tiny audiences, and, so forth, keep alive some
very high quality productions, and/or to satisfy very
specialized tastes, that could not be known / assumed
by anyone, otherwise. This is the ony way to go.
