If I were to set a goal of judging my assembler by the number of apps
posted on a web page, I'd be looking at the number posted for MASM or
NASM rather than a complete failure like RosAsm.
As to the source of HLA demos and apps, feel free to visit Webster.
There are lots of them there. And as for the paucity of user-developed
apps, no question about it that HLA will lag in this department for a
while. HLA is designed for beginning programmers. Beginning programmers
generally take some time to gain experience before they start posting
their exploits to the net. But have no fears, we're starting to see the
first wave of applications appearing now.
And boy, does that upset you (like when these adventure game threads
get going or the HIDE threads develop).
Cheers,
Randy Hyde
