Q: What did one Ethiopian yuppie say to another Ethiopian yuppie?

A: "Have your people call my people, and we'll do famine."

And trouble's already a-brewin.' As you undoubtedly know (but
won't discuss), Bono asked Paul McCartney to participate in
the 'Live Aid for Africa' concert. But Sir Paul insisted on
both opening AND closing the show...and said that if he
couldn't, he'd "...have to give serious thought to not parti-
cipating." Bono, of course, is livid with rage and jealously.
-BONO- wanted to open and close the show! Hehe!

Bono's now trying to negotiate some sort of 'joint' appearance
in the show opening. Ego is going to sink the entire project.
Good riddance. Hehehe!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of
its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live
under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The
robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at
some point be satiated; but those who torment us for own good
will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval
of their own conscience."
