Re: HAY Betov, still no support for GPL or LINUX, WHY ????

I had an email exchange with the Author of the GPL, after a
public discussion, that i had called "GPL not enough", where
Richard expressed his opinion: "The Enhanced GPL is no more
the GPL".

Boy, did he see you coming.

No, he did not, but this is not a problem.

I think we've got a translation mismatch here. It wasn't a ques... oh, never mind.

You might add to the top of the BPL (Betov Political Licence), now that we've Stallman's opinion on it;

"The BPL is not a GPL licence" (R Stallman, private communication)

While you're at it, you can also add

"The BPL is not an Open Source licence"

since it doesn't meet any of the criteria. Explain to me; how were you going to get the ReactOS team to use RosAsm since it's not GPL and it's not even open source?

I can guess your reply; something along the lines of

"It's means what I say it means" (also known as the Alice in Wonderland defence)

"You don't get it, do you? It says so here in this Byte article from 1849 written by the famous chemist that discovered water; he's quite clear on the the politics of coding jump tables. I can scan it for you right now." (The Sage defence or the spurious reference defence)

"**** off ***hole" (the offence defence).

"You're right" (unlikely, let's face it).
