Do you moderate that list yourself? I'm curious who evaluates the "why I
want to join" strings. I can't help but suspect that some of 'em are
hilarious. If the "cream of the crop" could be posted somewhere -
anonymously, of course, wouldn't want to embarrass anybody - it might be
amusing.

Don't forget, we are dealing with a "Yahoo" group here, My spam folder
fills up at about a rate of 1 every 10 minutes.
Those 'evaluation' things are mainly to fool spam-bots. Even with shields
up, a few occasionally sneak through the defences.
