Indeed, my AV (AntiVir), does not seem to care of SpyWares.
Just tried several:
* "Free Download"... but, have to pay, for removing, being
told after one hour of scanning...
* Free, but does not remove anything (protection only).
Well... this recalls me of the Icons Editors stories... :))
but, at the end i had 2 up and runing... though i am not sure
of their efficiency.
My Modem is an external USB one (ADSL2 LinkSys). It connects
alone, independently of the Computer, what creates some "fun"
as, for example, if it looses the connexion, i cannot close
it from the DeskTop (does not know of it), so that the only
way to re-initialize it, is to play with the Modem Power
Button, and then... the Windows comes out and shout, that
i should have asked before disconnecting an USB device...
:))
Same is it for Internet Exploder, that wants absolutely to
_connect_ before accessing the Web, what is impossible, as
i am already connected... Where would you have it "configured
correctly"? For sure, nothing in the [Option] Tabbed Dialog,
[Connections] that could match such a case.
[Win2000, here].
Thanks anyway. Betov.
