"Most people" are HLLers, not Asmers.

"Many" merely refers to a large indefinite number. Unlike "most," it is not in proportion to another number, just large in general. For example, it's correct to say "many americans are african-american," however it is incorrect to say "most americans are african-american." This is because 13% of 296 million, despite only being 13%, is a very large number.


For this and other reasons, it is incorrect to say things like "many of my friends think you're a ***" when you only have two friends.
