Maybe a difference of age, and of personal history.
Of course, the way you say it, and the way you view
it, the "politic" word does not seem to mean a thing
but what they call so, at T.V.
To me this word means something effective, that is,
the way of managing the human community. For example,
the expression "right-wing politic", is a perfect
absurdity. It can simply not mean a thing: Capitalism
and Fascism are nothing but _nature_. Like violence,
dominancy (what you call "power") belongs the the
natural behaviours of any superior animal, and very
particulary to human Kind.
We do have, for example, laws to limit violence and to
keep it under relative control. One example of these
laws is "Politeness", that is a generaly accepted law,
even though not written in many laws books.
:))
For social "power" and dominancy (short form: Capitalism),
as long as it is a collective concern, it requires a
collective answer to the problems and damages caused by
the natural predator tendencies of the dominants on the
many. This is what "Politic" is about. As such, any "Politic"
is, by definition "Left-Wing", and there cannot exist any
"Right-Wing Politic": Just "let them do", and you have it.
Now, in the real world, what our so-called "politicians"
do and are, has absolutely no relationship with all of
this: Their professional job is... to win elections.
Then, when they get elected, their problems are about
how to _manage_ the reality (the Capitalism), in order
to be re-elected. Period.
The real matter of real Politic is not about how to manage
any reality: It is about creating the world we want to
live in, depending 100% on what we _want_ and 0% on any
reality, and particualry not on any so called "economical
necessity". This is the real "Anarchism", which, as opposed
to what you seem to think, is in no way "personal and social
lack of organization", but, all the contrary, a social and
collective organization, of an higher order, based on
intelligency and culture, instead of economical contraints.
In this view of mine, the GPL belongs, full rights, to
the left-wing politic, to Anarchism, and to the Anti-
Globalization Mouvement - which is nothing but a poor
hopes and perverted heir of Anarchism -. The GPL was,
historicaly, the precursor of the Anti-Globalization
Mouvement, as you can see by taking a look at Richard
