Don't know if any of this helps at all...
DPMA changed names to DPMA in 1962. In 1996 DPMA changed
their name to:
Association of Information Technology Professionals, Chicago, IL,
www.aitp.org
http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t=Data+Processing+Management+Association&i=37633,00.asp
Other happenings in 1977...
IBM filed for a patent listing David E. Finlay (of Boulder, CO) as
inventor on November 16, 1977. The patent title was
"Computer-controlled copier-printers".
Just reading your bottle text, it appears you wrote a program
for DPMA. If it wasn't a computer program, perhaps it was a
program involving something along some other lines? I ran across
the word TAB or TABS when I browsed through the DPMA
stuff. DPMA seemed to present "data processing" tests ? And they
seemed interested in trying to get people to take their tests to
become certified. They created another organization at one time,
which possibly stressed certifications, while they themselves
administered the tests?
Don't have a clue, but perhaps it'll trigger some kind of memory.

"Charles A. Crayne" <ccrayne@xxxxxxxxxx> asked:
While looking for something completely different, I came across an empty
wine bottle with a label reading:
"Presented To
Chuck Crayne
As A Token of
Our Appreciation
For Your Program
November 16, 1977
Long Beach Chapter
Data Processing Management
Association"
Is there anyone who might have any records showing what I was presenting
that night?
