Re: RosAsm User Interface

Well, i already explained. Having the Caret vanishing up or
down when you scroll, so that you can no more know at what
place you are going to write to, is something utterly
inacceptable. Nowadays, everybody is used to this demential
behaviour of the Caret, but this is not a reason for making
a Source Editor as bad as this.

If, in a common editor, the cursor vanished up or down when you scroll
and any changes didn't reposition the viewable window to show where the
cursor was, I would agree with you. But it doesn't, so I don't. You
know exactly where you're going to write because the editor scrolls to
where the cursor is when you make any change.

You're going against the grain for no significant benefit, since the
problem exists with both implementations depending on which behavior
you expect. Therefore, it makes more sense to implement what the
majority is used to. But that's just my opinion, and I feel that I
understand your reasoning, so I'll stop asking you about this feature.
It's not a bug, it's a well considered feature. So I'll either get used
to it or change the RosAsm source if it annoys me enough. ;-)

Thanks!
