I guess you will want to modify this statement, so lets make a deal.
Figure out how much time you need to create a duplicate application in Delphi.
Then post a rough estimate. Then I will give you twice the time to deliver it.

Then we will find out the real diffrence.
Since its such a small work in Delphi, this cant be asking to much?

In fact I offer this challange to any programmer out there using a HLL. Estimate the time it will take you to write a duplicate app in your favorite HLL, and then post the estimate to signify you participation.

The one that delivers fastest will win.

Lets set up some ground rules.

This is a about the *language*, not the features, so no libs, just the plain language.
