No. I'm working on my own... But, there are a bunch of people on various
newsgroups who are interested and knowledgeable about various issues. But,
you need to know what your problem areas are first. I'd start with advanced
Google and Yahoo searches for webpages & forums on what you want. For
example, you could search for specifications, programming guides,
documentation. You can also search newsgroups with Google and find good
information. This is good for finding obscure things like programming a
specific port or will lead you back to the documentation you need.
Some links which may be useful:
Alexei Frounze's OS pages

Chris Giese's OS pages

Groovy Web "how to write your own OS"

Also, other newsgroups may be helpful.
You might look at a OS newsgroup:
alt.os.development
alt.os.free-dos
You might look for a newsgroup for the C compiler you're using:
comp.compilers.lcc
comp.os.msdos.djgpp
openwatcom.users.c_cpp
You might look at an assembly language newsgroup:
alt.lang.asm
alt.os.assembly
comp.lang.asm.x86
