If the student already knows the HLL control statements, the assembly
course can focus on other aspects in the early stages: registers,
addressing modes, stack, etc. I think the idea is not to overload the
student with all the necessary instructions and modes , etc, right from
the start but rather introduce them gradually while leveraging their
existing knowledge.
