He pointed that out because some people like to use the arguement "you
lose control in HLA compared to other assemblers" (or some variation
thereof,) implying that there are in fact things you can't do in HLA
that you can do in other assemblers. It's naturally bogus (due to the
fact that your 'control' is very situational), but worth pointing out
to people who might not know any better.
