Sorry, dude, I've seen your code. The last thing I would do is ask you
to write assembly code for me. All I was suggesting, while you were
saying that *any assembly* programmer could write a fast version was
for you to demonstrate this by posting your own code. I knew you
wouldn't, because you were unable to write fast code. The "fast"
WriteEAX routine in your "fast" disassembler engine certainly
demonstrates your abilities in that department.

Mind you, when all of the idiots will be over indicating him
how to do so, he will then publish it under HIS name, or even
admitting some discret reference would be given in the small
corner of some data, everybody would CREDIT the swindler for
having done... NOTHING, but taking others' work to build his
own fame.

Hmmm...
Maybe I should be crediting all my instructors back from my
undergraduate days, eh? Bottom line is that I generally give credit
when copying code as-is, but I don't bother when someone gives me an
idea that I must copy myself. For example, I probably won't reference
John's idea about using a two-byte lookup table for hexadecimal
conversion, but Terje's decimal conversion algorithm is probably worthy
of a note in the comments where it came from. And yes, it will be a
discreet reference in some small corner of the library -- specifically,
in the code module where the code appears. What more would you expect?
If you want to see such existing references, feel free to check out the
comments in the bit.cnt function of the HLA stdlib.

Oh, and one other thing, I don't see you crediting the MASM32 project
for your equates anywhere. So you're not exactly in any position to
discuss handing out the credit, are you?

Considering that, there is absolutely no doubt for anybody,
including me, that _"Master Randall Hyde"_ his evocated from
all and any places...

Well, as a matter of fact I *do* engage in a lot of research when
writing code and look for better ways to implement (for example) my
library routines. I don't try to pretend that I can create the best
possible solution for each of those (approximately) 850 routines. If
someone has a better idea, I'm more than happy to use it in my code.
That's called "delivering a quality product to your users."

For absolutely no reason, but as the
"Assembly Reference" reputation that he have so scandalously
usurpated.

Yes, choosing the best possible algorithms you can find can help boost
your reputation. Realizing that you can't write *every* algorithm in
the best possible fashion and that someone out there might have a
better solution is the first step towards producing the best possible
code that your users will respect. You should try it sometime.

Now, and again, you will NEVER find any link to ANYTHING from
Randall Hyde, on these pages, because, as long as he was not
even active, at that time, he NEVER did anything, but waiting
for the others to do the work.
