allright, some time we could make some speed comparisons. For FASM,
there are some apps for this:
For FASM-pure-assembly, there is FASM source (~450KB), and FASMARM
source (samewhat bigger).
For FASM-mid-macros-usage, there is my FASMLIB source, ~250KB. There is
also old pretty dead Fresh project.
For FASM-high-macros-usage, there is no real-world example i am aware
of :(
However, speed benchmarks won't be in next phase of ASMCMP. I will
focus on other "external" things there (not the syntax/compiling
itself), like documentation and user base.
Do you think i should start this next phase right now, or wait for
Jeremy to submit his info to have this part consistent?
you see, ASMCMP is getting better thanks to opinions of other authors.
Best thing is that i managed to get all authors to participate.
