allright, some time we could make some speed comparisons. For FASM,
there are some apps for this:

For FASM-pure-assembly, there is FASM source (~450KB), and FASMARM
source (samewhat bigger).
For FASM-mid-macros-usage, there is my FASMLIB source, ~250KB. There is
also old pretty dead Fresh project.
For FASM-high-macros-usage, there is no real-world example i am aware
of :(

Yes. I was used to test on Fresh. It contains a bit of HLLisms.
A pity that this project collapsed that way... Once again...

:(

However, speed benchmarks won't be in next phase of ASMCMP. I will
focus on other "external" things there (not the syntax/compiling
itself), like documentation and user base.

Do you think i should start this next phase right now, or wait for
Jeremy to submit his info to have this part consistent?

I am surprised that Jeremy would not yet have done this. Are
you sure he is well? (I have no more relationship with him,
since he did not ban Donkey, after the "Boycott ReactOS Petition"
affair).

you see, ASMCMP is getting better thanks to opinions of other authors.
Best thing is that i managed to get all authors to participate.

Yes.

:)

Betov.
