Of course you don't *need* a linker. Nasm is perfectly capable of
outputting a binary file, just like Windela/Lindela. You don't *need* a

may be of interrest for HLLs, but are definitively as
absurd as the Static Libraries concept, for Assembly.

The weight of what "people think" about anything in the
Assembly area is equal to _zero_. Less than zero, would
i say, considering that close to 100% of those so called
"people", have never written one single Application in
Assembly.
