The tinyBIOS source code converted to FASM syntax is available for
download at http://mikegonta.com/tinyBIOS.zip.
The FASM forum is at http://board.flatassembler.net/.
Even though the code is legacy 16 bit real mode it is a good source of
information.
I'd rather have the "good ... information" without the code... I can only
hope most of the "good information" is in their .pdf document, since I've
got more than enough code from the Internet to dig through for good but
obscure and poorly documented information.
Most of the conversion was by script. It will compile without error.
However it has not been tested.
The original A86 version and the docs are at
http://www.pcengines.ch/tinybios.htm.
It appears that the original tinyBIOS code is copyrighted by a German
company, but the open source license ("Common Public License") that they use
requires compliance with the laws of the State of New York, USA. I'm
wondering about a German court's perspective on a license agreement which
requires compliance with US law...

PS. There is no problem cross-posting to low volume unmoderated groups:
alt.lang.asm, alt.os.assembly, alt.os.development. Many people are on each
due to their intertwined nature. I'd avoid cross posting a high volume
group or a moderated one (may reject your post).
