It's easy for you to say that, but many countries like Britain can't
produce enough food to satisfy their population.
And control for food quality is not impossible, just needs political
will. And yes, there should be duties for imported food, particularly
if the cultivators of the said item are heavily subsidised, to enable
them to unfairly compete with other producers.
