Capitalism is incompatible with democracy. It has to be put on a tight

there we have a government doing its job: working for the benefit of

Now if we can only extend that concept to State and Federal

It is not the duty of government to protect a citizen from his/her own
actions. People need to start taking responsibility for their own
actions and stop relying on the government to create airbags around
them.

The "airbags" is the excuse to have a goverment in the first place. I am appealed at _all_ the partispants need for a ONE WAY thinking. There is no one way to solve all problems. Theres one problem, and many solutions. And this can never change. Extreme left, and extreme right are just two faces of the same coin. Imo, small minds, where Betov seems to be an exception. The guy is obviosuly a genious. How he can be extreme this or extreme that is just totally uncomphrehensable. Must be due to some level of emotianal stresses, as extremism has allready proven it has no right to real life, except as a small small part of the equation. To cause balance and radical input. (create bounderies for thinking, bounderies for chooseing a broader "what works" kind of "common" ground philosphy.)

Capitalism is at its healthiest when there exists little or no
restrictions on its activities.

Impossible. By the very definition, power corrupts. You cannot let power govern itself. Because they will change the rules so that noone else can participate. It will then lead to absolute COMMUNISM. The "bad" part of communism, which, isnt really communism at all. But true captialsm and true communism is impossible, because any philosphy that doesnt allow for changes will result in eventually total corruption. Evil will exist when any side "win". It is in the meltingpot of all the diffrences that life becomes possible.

Society/Community is at its healthiest when there exists little or no
restrictions on its members activities *AND* those members take
responsibility for their freedoms.

You forget that when two powers met, and join their forces, freely, without any rules, this will ultimatly lead to one power, that will rule all. And that is no joke, when looking at history. Captialism, like communison can work only when people play by the rules. But fact is, that we do _not_ play by the rules. We create the rules. The real rules are the forces of nature. I understand that this is a cirular argument, but there is no other way. Life is circular, and cyclic, and theres no way to avoid it. One partipate at once level of of a cycle, and work once best from once understanding. The mysteries of life, can never be solved. We will never have a working lasting solution, but the ever meltingpot of forces, each working in its own way, causing a liveable environment somewhere in between.

A gun-maker should be allowed to sell you a pistol which is designed
such that the barrel points at your head when you hold it.

:)))) Yes. I am for.

If you make
such a purchase and use the tool in the manner designed, your
unfortunate 'demise' is your own fault -- there is absolutely no
logical reason for any entity to step in to prevent your demise; it is
also not logical for an entity to be tasked with the duty of preventing
the sell of said object.

:)) CHEERS!!! :))
