The thing *could* be "defused" by just disassembling it - but you wouldn't even be able to check if you had it right. An emulator - or real Linux, perhaps a "live CD" - would make it a lot more convenient. Or... it wouldn't be too much trouble to cook up a Windows version. I think I could do it - my Windows coding is quite shakey, but this should be pretty easy - but then *I* couldn't test it! I could probably do a dos .com version in dosemu... Maybe I'll do that...
