A license choice is all about ethic and
nothing about time. If you have no ethical concerns, time will
never buy you any, and there is absolutely nothing to be discussed
about licensing: It is GPL or Anti-GPL. Period.

I find that to be a really odd statement for two reasons. First, Public
Domain software (no longer copyrighted or not copyrighted) gives one all the
rights of GPL software and a bunch more. So, how can Public Domain software
which isn't GPL'd be Anti-GPL? Second, the GPL requires that you forfit
your copyrights for any changes or modifications to the original author who,
under the GPL, is the sole copyright possessor (again, this includes
contributions by others) and has the right to close the source at any time
he/she wishes. This means that one individual can release a small snippet
of code, have hundreds of others turn it into a professional quality
application free of charge, and then take it private, i.e., no longer
release the code under the GPL - since it's the original copyright holder
who possesses all the legal rights to distribution and licensing, have a
commercial programming house polish it up a bit, and sell it commercially
for a profit. You need to go reread the GPL licensing FAQ. Make sure you
"read between the lines" this time.
