That's a good question. As I recall, you said you were detecting some
mouse event (I'm not familiar with "intellimouse" - mice around here
can't even be trained to use a litterbox!), and executing a .com file to
stuff a key into the keyboard buffer of the active window (in XP).
Doesn't sound to me as if it would work.
I agree. Way too many "hands" in the picture! There is absolutely no
need to "go around the barn" just to send a keypress event to a
window. Prolly have much better luck playing with AutoIt --
