You try so hard to appear important and prominent, but then you
miserably fail with a very immature and sophomoric expression like this
one. You really are a disappointment.

Hey, leave him alone!
If he doesn't want to participate in these discussions, that's great!
We reclaim some of that "wasted bandwidth" he's complaining about :-)

Historical note: the "wasted bandwidth" argument comes from the days
when USENET news as transported around via 300 baud modems; given that
downloading a *single* web page w/graphics probably consume more
bandwidth than an entire day's posts to this newsgroup, the argument
is ridiculous. As for spamming the newsgroup with non-assembly
postings, uh, this *is* ALA. What does one expect?

As for Google being broken and being the "wrong" tool, yesterday was
the first time *I* noticed this problem. Clearly it is a new defect.
As for whether Google groups is the "right" tool to use -- it is
available on every platform I use (about four, at the moment), unlike
any other tool I'm willing to use. Every newsreader I've used has its
own little problems. Google, over time, is no better or worse than any
other.
