Ratch and neo-con dogma (II)

Ratch,

Your style of response is why I take little notice of what you say and
why I refer to it as desperate denial.

1. Bush lied to start a war.
2. Young Americans are still dying for no purpose at all in sh*tholes
like Afghanistan and Iraq.
3. Funding two unwinnable wars has turned the US economy into a
shambles.
4. The level of foreign financial debt is compromising US security
with its massive debt to China and Japan.

Ratch's argument assumes that intent can never be proved and that
responsibility can always be passed to inferiors for actions that do
not follow from the best available evidence of the time. This entails
a subsequent assumption that Bush as the President of the US is
responsible for nothing, even though he has the ENTIRE capacity of the
US at his disposal.

These assumptions are simply not credible. Bush, Cheney and Powell
have all gone on record as making assertions that Iraq had WMDs
available that were a threat to the US, that Iraq had committed act(s)
of genocide against the Kurds and that Iraq was reconstructing a
nuclear capacity after their reactor was destroyed by the Israelis in
the early 80s.

1. Bush lied to start a war.

1:(a) Plamegate. Niger yellowcake etc ....

The information provided by Joseph Plame in his New York Times op-ed
entitled "What I Didn't Find in Africa," of July 6, 2003 is among the
source material used to prove intent.

(a) The assertions made in publc by Bush, Cheney and Powell about
Niger Yellowcake did not follow from any evidence obtaine by the US
government, it was fabricated with English assistance to justify
attacking Iraq and by stating it in public, Bush and his cronies LIED
about Iraq attempting to obtain uranium to produce nuclear weapons.

This information is very well known and Rach is simply stonewalling in
his denial of intent with evidence of this type.

1:(b) 1989 CIA evidence on gassed Kurds. Watch the video of Stephen
Pelletiere. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/january2007/110107Kurds.htm

Citing Stephen Pelletiere is done for a reason, he was employed by the
CIA as an analyst and was very close to the evidence, both in content
and time period. These events were supposed to have occurred before
the end of the Iraq Iran war in 1989. There are two useful conclusions
from Stephen Pelletiere,
1(b):1 Both Iraq and Iran were fighting chemical warfare in the local
area and at least some of the fighting involved Kurds in civilian
areas.
1(b):2 The Kurds who died of gas poisoning died from Iranian blood
agent nerve gas based on cyanide, NOT Iraqi mustard gas.

With the best available evidence from America's PREMIUM INTELLIGENCE
AGENCY available to the president of the US saying that Saddam did NOT
COMMIT GENOCIDE against the Kurds, Bush and his cronies have
deliberately LIED about Saddam committing genocide to justify
attacking Iraq.

Ratch has sited a much later source written at around the time that
Bush and his cronies were looking for justification to attack Iraq yet
it suffers from the defects that it is far later and more remote than
the evidence provided by Stephen Pelletiere who was a proven expert in
his field working for the CIA and that the Kurds as American allies
leading up to the attack on Iraq by the US have their own agenda
against Saddam Hussein so much of their evidence is tainted by their
own intent.

1:(c) UN weapon inspections under the control of Hans Blix proved NO
WMDs.

Ratch has repeatedly asserted that Bush was simply wrong with his
assertion that Iraq already had WMDs and was capable of making more.
When the BEST EVIDENCE IN THE WORLD prior to the second invasion of
Iraq said that Iraq had neither the weapons or the capacity to make
them then Bush's persistence that Iraq had WMDs and his repeated
scuttling around to fabricate the evidence from ANY OTHER SOURCE is
proof of his intent to LIE aout WMDs. The failure to either find or
plant WMDs after attacking Iraq is UNCONDITIONAL PROOF that Bush and
his cronies LIED about Iraq having WMDs and posing ANY THREAT
WAHTSOEVER to the US.

2. Young Americans are still dying for no purpose at all in sh*tholes
like Afghanistan and Iraq.

The current figure is now over 3400 and rising with over 25000 serious
injuries as well. Neither war can ever be won, remember the US has
been losing both wars for longer than it took to defeat the AXIS in
ww2. Both wars are lost and the young americans who are fighting them
are dying for nothing at all.

In Afghasnistan they chased out the Taliban once, thereby allowing
women could go to school again,

Proof required.

Ratch need to do better than find an out of date link for the
aspiration of Westerners in Afghanistan. The combined NATO forces
barely help the puppet Afghani government to control Kabul let alone
Afghanistan. The bulk of Afghanistan is under the control of warlords
and the taliban are making a very successful opium funded comeback. In
the words of English journalist Robert Fisk, "Remember 1880". In
afghanistan history IS repeating itself.

and gave the people a chance to govern themselves instead of being
under the control of a religious theocracy.

Ratch is avoiding the proof required. The Taliban set up a Sharia law
society and enforced it. The assertion that the invasion of
Afghanistan "and gave the people a chance to govern themselves" is
what needs to be proved. The facts on the ground are that Afghanistan
is now controlled by warlords and the Taliban coming back in, there is
no western democracy in Afghanistan.

In Iraq they got rid of Sadamn for good, and gave the people a chance
to make something of their country.

We all know about the sectarian killing of Saddam Hussein with
American complicity before and after the event but its the "and gave
the people a chance to make something of their country" component of
Ratch's statement that needs proof.

1/ Iraq is an occupied country.
2/ Its government is a puppet government propped up by the occupation.
3/ Iraq did not have sectarian killings during the reign of Saddam
Hussein.
4/ Iraq is awash with sectarian murders, death squads and violence as
a direct consequence of the American invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Too bad they seem more interested in settling old scores by killing
each other, and anyone else trying to stop them from doing so instead
of cooperating to form a government.

We all know there were no sectarian killings under Saddam Hussein
while the country is awash with them under Bush but its the assumption
that Iraqis should "cooperating to form a government" that is
defective here.

They have a prior task, to drive out the occupation forces and ensure
that they do not gain any concessions to steal their oil resources
through legislation before the puppet government currently in place.
The Al Maliki government cannot even control Baghdad let alone Iraq.
It is a fully occupied country fighting against a brutal occupation
and WINNING.

3. Funding two unwinnable wars has turned the US economy into a
shambles.

A laughable observation. I live here and I sure don't see any
financial shambles. Looking at too many far-left websites, Hutch?

Naval introspecting again Ratch, try reading 2 BILLION USD$ a week on
2 unwinnable wars.

That amount of money might seem like a lot for you, but for a
wealthy
nation of 300,000,000 , it is doable. The wars have been won, the
political
goals have not been met.

You are dreaming here and "naval introspection" does not solve the
problem for you here. 2 BILLION USD$ a week is a massive amount of
money to keep bleeding out of the savings of ordinary Americans. How
many cold and hungry Americans would 2 BILLION DOLLARS A WEEK feed ?

The assertion that the war has been won is nonsense. Nobody has told
the Iraqi freedom fighters this yet who are waging very successful
asymetrical warfare against the occupation and YES they are winning by
the criterion of asymetrical wafare. 3400 deaths and rising is proof
of a war that is being lost.

4. The level of foreign financial debt is compromising US security
with its massive debt to China and Japan.

It was at a high level long before the Iraq invasion,

Like the early 70s gold default ?

What about it? A vibrant economy is better than gold. The US is
not
on the gold standard any more.

The US economy defaulted back in the 70s, IE it could not produce the
GOLD to back its debts at the time. the foreign debt for the US is out
of control and getting worse with debt to the tune of billions to
China and Japan among others. the creditor nations don't have to hold
their breath waiting to get paid interest, the progressive collapse of
the USD$ is greater than any interest earned, its when they start to
DUMP the USD$ that they CONTROL the US economy as they now have the
capacity to destroy it.

Com on Ratch, you can do better than this, how about delivering proof
for your collection of assertions ?
