What are instruction synonyms
other than "hidden" macros? Consider jb and jc. Same exact
instructions. Clearly there is not a 1:1 correspondance to the
underlying machine instruction (which is jc). Therefore, I claim that
"jb" is a "hidden macro" and any assembler that compiles jb cannot be
called an assembler by your definition.
