Unlikely, since the purpose of the tilt bit is for hardware to die rather than act glitchy (introducing functionality errors by messing with the power supply -- "glitching" -- is a common technique for hacking hardware-based DRM systems) there is not going to be a way to send a message; the only option is for the hardware to shoot itself in the head. Supposedly the tilt bits will reset "after a second or so"; that reset might be done by the driver for all I know.
