Good humor. But I believe in the context we were talking about, it
means moving (relocating) the physical addresses to which the logical
addresses point.

However, the conventional use of the term does not
refer to moving anything, but rather, to the process of changing the
addresses within the object code so that it will run correctly at a
different address than it was compiled/assembled for.

Changing or determining the physical address in a systematic manner is
what relocation does.

Paging does not
do this.

If it changes the physical addresses, then it is relocating. Ratch
