Naw, you were wrong when you were sober, too. :)
Seriously, I think you're right!
At least this thread shows, that everybody here is an
assembly programmer: spend all your time to optimize a
few lines of code in a hot spot subroutine to make the
overall program a little faster, but what ever you try,
it never gets fast enough. A HL programmer would take
a look at the whole thing and try to avoid to call the
subroutine at all.
Don't waste the time searching for a way to get unlimited
energy. Take a look at the whole thing: this planet doesn't
need more energy, it's only one type of animal on this planet
which needs it. So, instead of trying to do the impossible,
just do the logical: eliminate the species which needs the
energy (at least those parts of it, which excessive consume
energy) and this planet can live in peace for a long time
(until an other animal degenerates the same way as the human
has done).
But fortunately this animal is so inconsiderate that it,
while exploiting anything which can be exploited, most
probably will eliminate itself. But unfortunately you never
can't be sure: the Intel syntax is so pervert, that it should
have eliminated itself a long time ago, but it still is
alive.
