That's being done as we speak -- I think it's even with gamma rays.

but gamma rays, like neutrons, protons, alpha rays and beta rays can
cause cancer; radio waves seems not until now
That's a trade-off. The patient is already suffering from cancer and any
treatment that can possibly save him worthwhile. Radio waves are not
lethal enough.
