I.e., it's not the the _default_ NASM
What is the "_default_ NASM syntax"? Any source code which is compiled
by NASM without the need of external preprocessing _IS_ NASM syntax.
If one eliminates the preprocessor, that's _default_ NASM syntax. Do you
consider C programs which use so many preprocessor defines that no one can
understand the code to actually be C?
Because if he does, then he would refuse to look
at any Intel syntax anymore.
WOW!!!! Very provocative claim... I'm sure if you implemented C, I
wouldn't look at NASM syntax anymore... :-)
Well, it hasn't converted me. But, the fact that you were able to convert
so much of Windela to work with NASM, makes one wonder if NASM shouldn't
extend it's abilities to fully support other syntaxes. Perhaps, NASM could
have plug in or selectable syntax for Windela, GAS, MASM, etc.
Who would eat at McDonalds when he once has
visited a first class restaurant?
Me. [long rant not posted...]
But if you don't know any better, you are
also happy with McDonalds.
And, if you do also...
