HLA v2.0 is written in HLA, yes. HLA v1.x was written with
Flex and Bison, which has given me a very low opinion of parser
generators....
HLA v2.0 is a long ways off, but you can check out the current
code at http://webster.cs.ucr.edu/AsmTools/RollYourOwn/index.html
