Hi Matt & Jim
Thanks a lot for your answers. Sorry for being so late in my response.
Matt wrote: "Paging sets up a translation from linear memory ->
physical memory...."
But I wrote:
"I guess that while executing p2 it is possible to overwrite (on
purpose or accidentally) some parts of p1.It means that p1 isn't
protected in this situation (model flat & paging
disabled). Is it possible to protect it (p1) by modifying p2's
descriptors at runtime (change base & limit as needed) before it's
execution ? "
Please, pay attention that in my question, paging is disabled!!!!! and
I want to add that I guess that the OS needs only 200 MB.
What will be Matt's answer now ?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
xyoavx
