Does anyone know how to detect the model and serial number of a ide
hard drive attached to a pci card? I know how to do it for a hard drive
attached to the mother board using addresses 0x1F0 and )0x170 , but
these addresses do not seem to work if I attach the hard drive to the
pci card.
Any suggestions will be helpful :)
